BCBS Transparency Pay File Paid time off TechSmithies get generous paid time off (about 18 days the first year), with more days off added the longer you’re here. You also get a paid day off for your birthday, in addition to the major holidays, and a paid day off each year to volunteer for a cause you love. Paid family leave TechSmith offers up to three weeks of paid family medical leave to employees following Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) qualified and approved leave, so TechSmithies can care for themselves or family members during medical situations. Tuition assistance TechSmith pays two-thirds of any tuition and books for qualified classes taken by full-time employees to improve their job skills, up to $5,250 per year. Ownership and investment plan TechSmithies are eligible to participate in our 30% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). TechSmithies are also eligible for our 401(k) investment plan, which includes an employer matching program.
